A few weeks ago, after those wonderful Dominicans (the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist) appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, I remarked that "I never thought I'd see the day when I'd recommend that others watch the Oprah Show". Now I'm almost as astonished to be able to say that I never thought I'd see the day when I recommend that others read the New York Times.
