An interview that I gave to the Ignatius Insight website on the great Russian writer, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, has just been posted. Following in the wake of the publication of the revised and expanded edition of my biography of Solzhenitsyn, the interview offers some background information on Solzhenitsyn's influence on my own life, my reasons for writing the biography, my memories of meeting Solzhenitsyn at his home near Moscow, and my appraisal of Solzhenitsyn's lasting legacy and relevance.
